About CEL
C.E Lawrance and Associates (Vic) Pty Ltd, of which I am a director, is a Geotechnical and Foundation Consulting business which specialises in; Soil Testing, Foundation Design, Distress Investigation of damaged buildings and minor structural computations. The business has been in operation for a period of twenty four years during which time we have undertaken many thousands of reports including estimated C B R testing for estate developments and many minor road upgrades, minor structural computations and damaged housing investigations.
Charles Lawrance
After graduation I worked in the structural section of Telecom for a period of approximately four years. During this time I was involved with the structural design of telecommunications towers around Australia.
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduated from Swinburne Intitute of Technolgy in 1978 - with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree.
Graduated from Swinburne Intitute of Technolgy in 1987 - with a Master of Engineering.
Matthew Joyce
Matt started his association with CE Lawrance & Associates in 1999, when completing his Industry Based Learning while finishing his degree at Swinburne. Graduating in 2001 Matt began his professional career working as a Structural Engineer. Between 2001 and 2006 he worked in all areas of structural engineering including drawing documentation, structural analysis and on site engineering and supervision. Matts experience includes spending 8 weeks in Dubai working on Dubai Festival City and on site at Marthas Cove in Safety Beach.
Resuming with CE Lawrance & Associates in 2006 Matt has been involved in all areas of engineering within the business. Taking projects from the early stages of soil investigation (including field work and report writing), thru to footing design and finishing off with structural comps for retaining walls and supporting members for upper storeys.
Matt has experience all over the suburbs of Melbourne and the wider areas of Melbourne including Korumburra, Inverloch, Philip Island, Mornington Peninsula, Marysville, Kinglake, Wallan, Kilmore, Woodend, Gisborne, Bacchus Marsh and the Greater Geelong Area.
